The 8 task cards included in this file are a great way for students to review the order of operations (PEMDAS) with positive numbers. It includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, exponents, and parentheses.
These task cards are self-checking. Students start with any task card. The answer they get to that question will match the card number of another task card. The student then completes that card. This process repeats until students have completed all 8 task cards. The answer to the last task card they complete should match the card number of the first card they solved, making this activity completely self-checking!
These task cards make an excellent center (or station) activity, cooperative learning activity (by having students work in groups of 2 or 3 on the cards), or independent review before a test or quiz! They are very versatile!!
