Similar Figures Challenge Task Card Activity

  • Product Details
  • Additional Information

Get your students moving around the classroom with this set of 8 challenge task cards on similar figures and scale!

This resource contains 2 versions of the 8 cards: large full page cards, to hang around the classroom or set up as stations and small 4 per-page cards that can be used as traditional task cards. A recording sheet and answer key are also included.

These task cards are a great way to get students thinking more deeply than traditional worksheets of similar figure problems. These questions require students to convert customary and metric measurements, apply similar figure and scale and proportionality concepts to the perimeter and area of figures, and find scale factor. They are a great way to challenge gifted students, advanced math classes, early finishers, or any student who would benefit from enrichment-type problems.

I hope you and your students enjoy this activity!
