Divisibility Rules Interactive Game

  • Product Details
  • Additional Information

Divisibility Challenge is a fun math game that has students use the divisibility rules to identify factors of given numbers!

When you open the game, you have the option of selecting which divisibility rules you want to include (you can choose to include as many of the following numbers as you would like: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10).

The game shows a number and asks you to determine which numbers it is divisible by (out of the ones you chose to include). You simply check all that apply and hit submit. Once you submit your answer, it will tell you whether you were right or wrong, and if you were wrong, it will tell you why you were wrong. Then a new number appears and the process repeats.

There are 3 different modes to the game: free play, mastery mode, and speed mode. In free play, you just select factors of the given numbers with no speed or accuracy requirements. In mastery mode, you can choose to play until you get 5, 10, or 15 questions correct. Once you correctly answer that many questions, the game ends and you can see how accurate you were (as a percentage). In the speed mode, you select a time limit (3 minutes, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes) and answer as many questions as possible in that time frame. As in the accuracy mode, you will be able to see the number of questions you answered correctly in that time frame at the end of the game.

You can play this game over and over again and it will generate a different number each and every time!!

Divisibility Challenge is an excellent tool to help students learn, practice, and master the divisibility rules for 2 – 10! It is a great way to add meaningful technology in the math classroom! You can play it on a SmartBoard, Mimio, StarBoard, Promethean Board, chromebook, or on any computer as a center or station activity! Play as a class on an interactive whiteboard or have students play independently on their own devices in a 1:1 classroom.
