The notes page includes the proportion, tips for identifying the part, whole, and percent, and step-by-step instructions with an example to show students exactly how to solve percent problems using the percent proportion. There are also a few examples for students to solve on the notes page (one of each type – finding a part, whole, and percent, as well as a word problem example).

The skills practice page has students practice solving problems using the percent proportion. There are also 3 error analysis problems where students have to identify and correct the error in percent proportion problems.

The application practice page consists of 5 real-world word problems that require students to use the percent proportion to solve. There is also one problem where a percent proportion is given and students have to write their own word problem that could be solved using that proportion.
